Just when we thought heels couldn't get any higher, Christian Louboutin ups the ante with these 8" stilettos. But don't worry, hopefully we won't be seeing any starlets staggering down the red carpet in these ankle-twisters any time soon. Scheduled to be auctioned off to benefit the English National Ballet, these one-of-a-kind pumps are inspired by ballet shoes—and covered in Swarovski crystals.
"I could not help being inspired by English National Ballet," Louboutin said, "after all... isn’t the classical dancing ballet slipper the ultimate heel? The heel which makes dancers closer than any other women to the sky, closer to heaven!"
