The african fabric Ankara is taking the runways by storm from NYFW to MFW & designers like Prada & Simonetta Ravizza who have incorporated the ankara into their collections as seen on these images. I think its high time the world appreciates the African sense of fashion and embrace it. I strongly believe our designers can do a better job than this as we have seen in many blogs and websites what comes out of the Ankara from our designer. Hey having said that am glad Africa is now making a statement in the fashion world and on the runways across the globe. Last but not least I would love to see more ethnic models on the runway!
