Newly wed Kim Kardashian will file for divorce from husband Kris Humphries on Monday, just 72 days after the couple tied the knot.
The date of separation is listed as October 31, 2011, according to TMZ.
Kardashian is said to have cited “irreconcilable differences” in her papers.
Ryan Seacrest, who produces Kardashian’s TV shows, just confirmed the news via Twitter, adding that a statement will be forthcoming.

We’ve reached for a comment from attorney Laura Wasser, who’s set to represent Kardashian, as well as the reality star’s reps.
The couple wed on August 20.
Despite reports that the major falling out happened over Humphries’ partying, we’re told one of the deciding factors was actually Kardashian’s unwillingness to leave Los Angeles, where her family and career are.

“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.“
