ONE DIRECTION SET TO BE NAMED BRITISH WEALTHIEST BOY BAND.

ONE Direction are set to be named as Britain’s wealthiest boy band worth £25MILLION.
They have amassed a £5million fortune each since first getting together in 2010, the new Sunday Times Rich List will reveal.

Their individual personal wealth has rocketed all five lads  Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, all 19, and Zayn Malik, 20, and Louis Tomlinson, 21 into the list of music millionaires aged under 30, And 1D’s combined bank balances makes them the richest boy band in the country, the list will reveal later next month.

The former X Factor contestants hit the jackpot after topping the charts in 16 countries with their first album Up All Night which included the debut No 1 single What Makes You Beautiful.
Their follow-up collection, Take Me Home, made them the first act in two decades to have two of the year’s best-selling albums, with total sales of three million copies. The 60 sell-out shows they played in 2012 also raked in £11.8million.

The boys will feature in a second Rich List league table for leading charity donors. Their Comic Relief single One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks) has shot to the top of the charts in 60 countries and hit 330,000 sales in the UK alone.

THE annual Sunday Times Rich List, celebrating its 25th anniversary as the definitive guide to wealth in Britain and Ireland, is out in April.
