On a cold winter day of December, one year to be exact , you chose me to be your wife. I promised to wear your ring with love and joy. We both promised love and faithfulness, to have and to hold for better or for worse. I promised to spend my whole life with you, you promised forever.
One year had passed, and I must say, I love being your wife. In fact, I’m proud to be your wife. You continue to amaze me with your ability to selflessly love me. For wanting my happiness above your own. You are always thinking of me. Thank you for remaining endlessly patient with me. That might be your best quality . Thanks for choosing me. For continuing to choose me everyday. Thank you for investing in our marriage every single day. Whether bringing my water at night, kissing me when you wake up and before going to sleep. Or just by holding my hand whenever the traffic light turns red to stop.
You have been my rock, my coach in the corner, and my daily encouragement. Thank you for believing in me, and for helping me believe in myself. You were the one telling me “you can” when I think I can’t. The one telling me “you will” when I think I won’t. You have supported my writing, my home based job. You’ve been my biggest fan.Thank you for the security that you offer me and knowing that you are always there for me.
I thank you for loving me despite the wrongs that I have done. Thank you for loving me for me and for making me a better person. You have given me much more that I deserved and for that, I am very grateful. I am beyond blessed to call you my husband.
Cheers for the first year and many more to come. I promised. And will promise again to stay married to the same man for as I long I shall live
I LOVE YOU Dullah. And nothing can ever change that.
And as long as my heart beats, I’ll stay and share my life with you.
