For Fall 2011 Armani Prive set it’s eye on Japan for inspiration, the models wore ikebana flowers as head pieces . “Japan has been a great fountain of inspiration to me—the designs, the colors, and the shape” says Giorgio Armani , he created lovely kimono jackets in velvet, accessorized with obi belts and prints with Japanese cherry blossoms and roses. This collection was dedicated to the victims of the Japan’s tsunami and Armani donated to the UNESCO scholarship fund for Japanese children and students.
