FASHION DESIGNER GHASSAN YAZBECK CHOSEN TO PARTICIPATE IN MARKET WEEK, ENK'S FASHION COTERIE...!!!

(February 21th, 2012- New York, NY)- After showcasing a brilliant collection during the highly praised iFashion Week show during NYFW, designer Ghassan Yazbeck has been screened and hand picked to be a part of the newly formed TMRW, as an emerging feature of ENK's Fashion Coterie. The three-day trade show will be a unique event where buyers and press will have the opportunity to be exposed to the generation’s best progressive designers at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Look for Yazbeck in Booth 7166 Javits Center - Level 3, Halls 3AB, Halls 3AB  from February 21st-23rd, 2012.

Fashion Coterie TMRW is known as a premiere trade event giving new designers the chance to be discovered by buyers and major media fashion editors. TMRW requires all designers to undergo a juried evaluation and selection process before being accepted for participation in the show. Fashion Coterie is an organization that has been building its reputation for over 17 years, so Yazbeck will be taking another stepping stone in his career alongside other well-known and emerging designers.

Yazbeck, already leaving an impression on the press through his collection showcase on February 14th 2012, is expected to yet again enlighten and open the eyes of many more buyers and fashion professionals to his clothing. Yazbeck drew in a fairly large crowd of standing room only international press, models, domestic editors, photographers, VIP's and fans. The designer left the crowd captivated by his elite collection. “I am thrilled and overwhelmed by the embracement and the positive energy received during New York Fashion Week for my work and more so my participation at Fashion Coterie,” expressed Yazbeck.

Yazbeck's clothing offers a structured and elegant look for young independent women, translating into Yazbeck’s own cultivated personality. Combining colors like blacks, whites, and reds with teal and purple accents, Yazbeck makes sure women who put on his clothing will feel playful while looking sophisticated. Using fabrics like silk, double knit wool, and wool crepe, the collection does not only showcase a great look, but promising quality, all produced and manufactured in the garment district of New York.

As a graduate from McGill University with a chemical engineering degree, he later changed direction to the pharmaceutical industry. Having a strong zeal for fashion design, however, Yazbeck decided he was not satisfied with the career path he had chosen. Leaving behind his former and comfortable life, he enrolled and eventually graduated with a degree in fashion design in Parsons and is now on his way to fulfilling his lifelong dream of creating a lifestyle brand.
