FROM THE RED CARPET @ THE OSCARS 2012...!!!

Angelina Jolie stole the shoe in a structured velvet Atelier Versace gown with a high slit, worn with simple Salvatore Ferragamo peep-toes and $2.5 million worth of Neil Lane jewels.
Maria Menounos played it dreamy in a minty Maria Lucia Hohan gown, worn with Jacob & Co. diamonds and a romantic loose bun. The lovely television personality showed a hint of unexpected skin with a flirty peek-a-boo bodice.
Octavia Spencer stayed loyal to her favorite label, Tadashi Shoji, in a beaded white gown with flattering draping, adding a crystal-studded clutch and refined diamond chandelier earrings.

Giuliana Rancic wore an elaborate Tony Ward Couture gown. The glamorously retro gown, which practically dripped with rhinestones, had a Old Hollywood feel to it thanks to the opulent beading on its sheer yoke. She kept the hair and makeup simple. Very chic!
Rose Byrne rocked a sparkly backless sequin gown and glam art-deco accessories.
Emma Stone wore a halter that evokes memories of Nicole Kidman’s 2007 Oscars gown. ’The Help’ star was all wrapped up with a bow in Giambattista Valli.
Rooney Mara  looked as if she could have stepped straight off a 1930s film set in a stunning white Givenchy gown. She accessorized with a 1910 Fred Leighton diamond ring in platinum.
Michelle Williams  flaunted her petite figure to a stunning effect in a coral crepe gown with peplum waist by Louis Vuitton.
Viola Davis took the emerald trend to the next level in a brilliant green Vera Wang gown with a pleated chiffon train. Davis abandoned her usual wigs in favor of her close-cropped natural hair, allowing the focus to fall on her arresting diamond-and-emerald jewels.
Gwyneth Paltrow looked like a foxy fashion superhero in her caped Tom Fordgown. Paltrow kept it minimalist with a diamond-encrusted cuff and sleek locks.
Milla Jovovich channeled old Hollywood glamour in a one-shoulder Elie Saab Couture gown paired with classic red lips, artfully arranged curls, and the very daintiest box clutch.
Cameron Diaz sizzled in a nude Gucci gown with gold beading and cascading ruffles, with a simple diamond necklace and her casually-styled blonde bob.
Sarah Hyland looked oh-so-innocent in her demure dusky lavender Alberta Ferretti gown, which featured a gathered bodice and asymmetrical straps. The young actress matched the romance of the dress with a loose, low bun and bronze eye makeup.
Jessica Chastain  sported a stunning imperial Alexander McQueen creation, which featured the most intricate gold embroidery on the bodice and the skirt. Chastain paired it with loose curls and soft makeup.
It was hard to miss television personality Nancy O'Dell's canary yellow Chagoury Couture gown, which featured a delicate pleated skirt and intricate gunmetal beading. O'Dell matched the gown's antique feel with drop earrings by XIV Karats.
Anna Faris certainly seemed to be channeling Elvira Hancock in her blunt blond bob and black sequined Diane Von Furstenberg gown, which covered too much skin and offered too little contrast to photograph well.
Penelope Cruz bought timeless red-carpet glamour to the table in a delicate off-the-shoulder gown in dusky blue by Armani Prive.
Judy Greer flaunted her figure in a liquid metal Monique Lhuillier gown. The flame-haired lady played up her curves in the dress’ slinky silhouette, which she matched with art deco diamonds and a metallic clutch.
Bingbing Li also chose white, striking a faintly restricted pose in a deeply textured Georges Chakra Couture strapless gown with a unexpected sheer panels at the sides. TheResident Evil: Retribution actress played off the dress' floral touches with an opulent diamond flower cuff bracelet.
Bérénice Bejo may have been up for an Oscar for her role in a silent movie, but she made quite a statement in a mint green Elie Saab dress that was a stark contrast to her fiery hair.
The Princess of Monaco, Charlene Wittstock, hid her willowy figure in a loose-fitting white gown. The former swimmer's pose lacked the confidence required to pull off such an overwhelming neckline.
Melissa McCarthy worked the red carpet in a custom mauve Marina Rinaldi gown complete with a glittering collar and a jeweled waistline. Beneath her gown, the much-loved Best Supporting Actress nominee sported pumps by Brian Atwood, who inscribed a special message inside her fancy footwear.
Shaun Robinson's gold lamé Romona Keveza halter gown showcased her strong, gorgeous shoulders while evoking a '70s disco glamour. Robinson added a pop of color to her look with vibrant emerald earrings and a crystal-encrusted clutch.
Nina Garcia's stately black Jean-Paul Gaultier gown fit right in on the Oscars red carpet, although it would have looked more elegant paired with a sleeker hairstyle. We get it, chunky highlights are in, but my, are they distracting! Vintage Fred Leighton jewels completed the look.
Shailene Woodley said she was “obsessed” with her Valentino Couture gown, adding “I love that it’s long-sleeved!” Not everyone is as smitten.
Kristen Wiig loves wearing flesh tones on the red carpet and the Oscars were no exception. She added a touch of dramatic contrast to her tiered nude J. Mendel gown with a dark manicure, although her highlighted waves were beachy, California beautiful.
Leslie Mann stunned in Roberto Cavalli , but her heart-stopping midnight blue gown came with its drawbacks: Mann admitted in a pre-show interview that she could barely breathe in the luxe look. Beauty can be a real pain.
Penelope Ann Miller channeled her inner Marilyn Monroe in an ivory Badgley Mischka halter gown encrusted in crystals and sequins. Miller added a touch of Glenda the Good Witch whimsy with a delicate headband and glitzy drop earrings.
Sherri Shepherd gave the cameras an eyeful in a cut-out cobalt gown with silver embroidery. The 30 Rock actress wasn’t shy about showing the world her black strapless bra, which was plainly visible beneath the dress’ semi-sheer bodice. Maybe the exposed underwear thing is best left to Lady Gaga and the like.
George Clooney's lady love Stacy Keibler very much resembled a trophy in her expertly draped gold Marchesa gown. With a deep side part and sun-kissed skin, Stacy couldn't have looked any more polished on her boyfriend's big night.
Maya Rudolph opted to wear a custom Johanna Johnson gown in a demure eggplant hue. The gown looked rather somber from the front, with its beaded capped sleeves and a dramatic train, but featured an intricately embellished back that was all glitz.
