2011 is the year of the comeback of the group Makoma, a back full of energy and enthusiasm. They signed a recording contract and worldwide global distribution for the next 10 years that means 5 albums with BC3 MEDIA which is under the direction of Philipp Bauss who is also the band's manager, and the sponsor of this initiative.

The group decided to name their 4th Album "EVOLUTION" with 10 tracks.

Formed in 1993 by Tutala Makoma and known as "Old Testament". The group is the combination of five brothers and sisters and their friend, all from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Precursors of modern gospel, they sing mostly in English and Lingala (national language spoken in the DRC).
In 1997 when they settled in Holland, the group opted for the name from now Makoma.
Makoma offer an alternative to the "classic" gospel, their style is open to the influences of pop, rnb, soul and dance that was brought and produced by the stars producer Andre Straesser.
The group, in the past used to distribuate their music in Africa, South Pacific successfully, now they want to become an artist overall.
Their first album "NZAMBE NA BOMOYI" was released in 1999, the group Makoma imposes a style quickly and baptize. They are very popular and become an inspiration for young people.
Makoma ignites Africa and the world and go on tour in Africa, Australia and some countries in Europe and America.
The group knows another great success in 2002 with the album MOKONZI NA BAKONZI and go on tour again.
Show of faith, the same year they won the Kora's "Best African Group"in South Africa and later in 2005 in the South Pacific.
Between 1999 and 2006, Makoma have been in over 30 countries to play their music. They made a series of concerts including one of the biggest that reached over 40,000 people in Madagascar.

lingala (langue nationale parlee a la RDC).

Australie et quelques pays en Europe et en Amerique.

de la foi, la meme annee ils gagnent le Kora du “ meilleur groupe
Africain” Afrique du Sud et plus tard en 2005 au Sud Pacific.
