EVELYN LOZADA FILES FOR DIVORCE FROM CHAD OCHOCINCO JOHNSON & SPEAKS OUT ON ASSULT...!!!

Evelyn Lozada has spoken out for the first time on her husband Chad Johnson's attack on her, saying she wants him to seek help.

The former Basketball Wives star was allegedly head-butted by the former Miami Dolphins player during an argument which was caused after she found a receipt for condoms in their car. Chad was arrested for misdemeanour domestic violence, but was bailed a day later on a $2,500 bond.

Speaking out for the first time since the incident, Evelyn told TMZ:

"I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me."

"It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well," she added.

Evelyn has also filed for divorce from husband Chad Ochocinco Johnson. According to TMZ,

“Evelyn Lozada filed legal docs moments ago in Florida, claiming her marriage is “irretrievably broken.”

According to the divorce docs, the couple had a prenup but that won’t be a big deal since the marriage was shorter than Kim Kardashian‘s.”

This is all happening so fast. They fell for one another so quickly, had a public engagement, were married a little over month, and now this. No more TV show, Chad gets cut, and now Evelyn files for divorce. I’m sure we’ll hear all about this on the next season of Basketball Wives. We truly wish her the best.
