A young Tanzanian girl who grew up in New York and Paris, worked as VJ for MTB Base al over Africa.
Vanessa also works locally for the country’s biggest radio station called Choice FM (on 102.6), program named The Hitlist. Now also as a presenter for the TV program called Dume Challenge! every Saturday on ITV at 7pm.
Vanessa is also known as a model for the successfuldesigner brand Chichia London.
A bit about Vanessa:
D2I: What would you say is your look signature?
Vanessa: Wife beater, Fitted denim or Sweats and some chucks ( Probably am dressed like this everyday).
D2I: Which item in your purse wouldn’t you go out without?
Vanessa: Aside from the obvious - wallet, LIP GLOSS or Lipbalm is a must, my lips get chappy real quick so I constantly lip balming.
D2I: Tell us a bit about you?
Vanessa: I'm a happy person, I support positive vibes and good vibration. I enjoy intrigue and the unknown thrills me. I try to learn something new each day, I read a bible verse every day. I love my family - 7 siblings and a darling niece. MUSIC makes me HIGH... I'm on a bender on every show. It gives me such pride to be born of the continent of Africa. Traveling is easily my favourite thing to do.... 
D2I: You have shown to love Fashion, and differently from many Tanzanian girls have your own wearing code and style, what message would you like to give to other aspiring Tv / radio presenter?
Vanessa: BE YOURSELF! Don't dress like Vanessa or Rocsi or ... it WILL hinder your performance.
D2I: Who influences your style?
Vanessa: No one per se' I dress how feel that day - be it colour, print or accessories.
