
Beyonce puts her toned figure on full display on the April 2013 cover of Shapemagazine, where the multi-tasking mom admits that bouncing back and getting her fantastic figure in tip-top shape wasn’t easy! “I’m not a person that is naturally very thin, I’m a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape,” she confesses. “I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again!” The 31-year-old singer gained a total of 57 pounds while pregnant with her first child, Blue Ivy, but it looks like she managed to shed all of the extra weight — we’ve never seen her look better! The singer is clearly driven and focused when she’s on stage, and she put the same determination to use when working towards getting her pre-baby body back, saying that a healthy diet and dance workouts helped her achieve her fantastic, post-baby figure. “For me, dancing is what keeps me active,” she says in a behind-the-scenes video with the mag. “Everyone is not supposed to be the same. Be healthy and take care of yourself but be happy with the beautiful things that make you you,” she says.
