Tanzanian Maria Sarungi-Tsehai and Abraham Haile Biru of Ethiopia have just been elected as Regional Secretaries of Eastern Africa region which includes Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania and Somalia.
