Long after Michael Jackson’s demise, his departing still gravely affects his loved ones today. Paris Jackson,daughter of the late pop legend, is hospitalized after attempting to kill herself.
According to the BBC, Angel Howansky, long-time publicist to Joe Jackson –– Michael’s father and Paris’ grandfather –– confirmed the young girl’s suicide attempt.
Paris was carried out of her Calabasas family house on a stretcher at around 2 AM, then transported by ambulanceto a nearby hospital.

Despite allegations, Howansky has not confirmed a possible drug overdose or multiple cuts on her wrist, reports the BBC’s Alastair Leithead in Los Angeles.
