Clarke Carlisle raising awareness of depression in football. It was truly insightful. From his own perspective to families directly involved in worse cases than his own, i.e. Gary Speed. It widened the narrow minds of some and further emphasises that footballers are like anyone else, and will suffer from things like depression - but sometimes it's easier for depression to fall down on them in particular; simple scenarios like losing a football match, not scoring etc.
