Sir Alex Ferguson has defended his controversial autobiography and insisted he wrote it for Manchester United fans. The legendary former Manchester United boss says the book was intended to show how difficult it is to be in charge at Old Trafford. Ferguson has been criticised over some of the dressing-room revelations in his book, as well as criticism of player including Liverpool duo Steven Gerrard and Jordan Henderson.
