The Class of 92, a cinematic documentary detailing the rise to prominence of David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Phil and Gary Neville at Manchester United, was debut in selected cinemas across the UK from Sunday December 1 and will be available on DVD from Monday December 2.
The film covers the period from 1992, when Giggs first appeared in United's senior team, to 1999, culminating in the club's Champions League triumph.
The film tells the story of how six 14-year-old working class lads from diverse backgrounds came together to play for the same club and became the spine of the most lauded team in world football, all the while remaining close friends.
The production secured access to all six players and has interviews with, among others, Zinedine Zidane, Tony Blair, Mani from the Stone Roses, Eric Cantona and Danny Boyle.
“When we were approached to do this film, it gave me the chance to think back over all the events in not only my career but all of the lads involved," said Ryan Giggs.
